The objectives of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians are: To advance programs for preventive medicine, husbandry, and scientific research in the field of veterinary medicine dealing with captive and free-ranging wild animals; To provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of problems related to the field of captive and free-ranging wild animals;To publish and distribute scientific information pertinent to the field of veterinary medicine dealing with captive and free-ranging wild animals; To enhance and uphold the professional ethics of veterinary medicine.

The Wildlife Disease Association (WDA) is dedicated to wildlife conservation through the study and understanding of diseases in wildlife. Founded in 1951, the WDA has flourished as an international, nonprofit organization with more than 1300 members from 45 countries. WDA members are actively engaged in research, teaching, and service activities related to wildlife.
Our Goal Our mission is to acquire, disseminate, and apply knowledge of the health and diseases of wild animals in relation to their biology, conservation, and interactions with human and domestic animals.
Our concerns encompass infectious, parasitic, and toxic disease agents, as well as nutritional, physiologic, developmental, and neoplastic diseases of game, non-game, and endangered species; issues related to wildlife relocation and wildlife rehabilitation, zoological parks, public health, domestic and wild animal interactions, comparative medicine, and ecosystem health.

The Morris Animal Foundation
Morris Animal Foundation improves the health and well-being of companion animals and wildlife by funding humane health studies and disseminating information about these studies.
Morris Animal Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Morris Animal Foundation is the funding source for animal health studies that are conducted at veterinary institutions throughout the world. Once an animal health study is completed, the principal investigator disseminates the findings in peer-reviewed publications to the veterinary community. The Foundation's volunteer Scientific Advisory Board evaluates each study based on relevance, scientific soundness and humane treatment. The Foundation does not endorse or sell any pet products or services.
