There's always something new to learn about wild animals. Did you
know there are over 4,600 recognized species of mammals, more than
10,000 species of birds, at least 7,800 different kinds of reptiles,
4,800 amphibians, and - believe
it or not - 23,000 different species of fish. Add to that the thousands
of different kinds of invertebrate animals, such as insects and
spiders and mollusks and
well, you get the idea. There's a
lot of wildlife out there.
Because there is such a rich diversity of wildlife, it can be
hard to know where and how to start. May we suggest you begin by
