Most countries consider wildlife a natural resource which belongs
to the people of that nation. Governmental agencies are created
to oversee wildlife management, enforce policy and, in some cases,
provide public education. In addition to national agencies, some
countries also have state or provincial wildlife departments.
These agencies are not only a rich source of general information
on wildlife, they are the best place to find out about rules and
regulations specific to that country or region.
Choose Agency Search from the left menu to find federal and Provincial/state
government agencies from around the world.
